Lennie is responsible for ensuring that the vision of our church is effectively cast, communicated, and carried out. His passions include seeing the church mobilized to live out faith in everyday life, so that the message of the Gospel is seen and heard while disciples who make disciples are being made. He has his BA in Business Management, MA in Theological Studies; both from Malone University. He lives in Green, Ohio with his wife Kelly, and four children: Eliza, Leo, Isaac, and Naomi. He enjoys listening to (alternative rock and country), playing (guitar), and (very occasionally) writing music. He loves sports (especially Cleveland Browns football) and trying to work out (his New Year’s Resolution every year). Coffee is not so much a preference as it is a necessity, and he considers himself a cheeseburger connoisseur. With any spare time he can find, he’s an old school gamer (NES, SNES, and Genesis), a book enthusiast (especially practical approaches to personal or systems improvement), and a family man that loves getting away with them to the hills of West Virginia, the beach, and Disney World.
Rich enjoys assisting in worship at the keyboards and leading the choir. He has a passion to see people encounter Christ through their understanding and engage Christ’s great gift of grace. When that happens, they will be a natural expression of God‘s love to those they encounter. He has a BA in Biblical Studies from Central Bible College, and a MA in Education from Walsh University. Having been in education since 1998, he has taught at a local high school and currently works as a data specialist for Akron City Schools.
Through the years he has served in various areas of ministry including senior pastor, youth pastor, and music/choir director. He has been married to Meg since 1977 and has two daughters, Rachel and Renee. His hobbies include music, scuba, and relaxing in the pool.
Pastor of Compassionate Ministry
Russ enjoys working closely with the members of the congregation to look after their needs. Whether people are being hospitalized with illness, rehabbing their physical needs, spending time in a nursing home, or going through a real life crisis, he wants to be there for them. The goal of the compassionate ministry team is to offer support, encouragement, and to be a friend in faith when the wheels seems to be coming off of the lives of the hurting. Russ believes that if we daily follow Jesus, we will compel others to do the same. By truly being a disciple, we can lift up the suffering and give them hope.
Chad enjoys creating organizational structure and empowering people to use their God-given gifts to benefit the local church body and the Kingdom. He is passionate about serving marginalized people and missions. Chad is the owner of Classic Stoneworks and resides in Hartville with his wife, Marlene, and their two children, Austin and Allyson. During his free time, you will find him spending time with family and playing guitar.
Aaron enjoys his role of connecting people with other believers to help them grow in a relationship with Christ. He has a passion for sharing his faith and guiding people towards knowing God on a deeper level. He has a BA in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and lives with his wife, Kristen, along with their dog and three cats. In his free time, he enjoys running and playing board games or video games.
